Est. MCMXXVII · By Appointment · Live Jazz Nightly

The Gilded Hour

The door is unmarked. The hour is yours.

Knock twice.

The Programme

Cocktails

Five pours, set in lead type. The bar keeps no menu longer than the season.

Prices in old-style figures. Gratuity at the guest’s discretion.

“No neon. No sign. Only the sound of a glass set down and a piano finding its key.”

The Room

Brass banquettes, a single chandelier dimmed low, and walls the colour of a closed cigar box. The bar is the brightest thing in the room, and only just.

The Ritual

The door. The wait. The hush when it opens. We do not hurry the threshold — the threshold is part of the hour you have come to keep.

The Stage

Live Jazz

The room keeps a standing engagement. The room listens as carefully as it pours.
