FORM & FUNCTION
A working academy and rotating exhibition space where the principles of modernism are taught, debated, and put on the wall.
Four disciplines. One grammar.
Each course isolates a single element of the modernist vocabulary. Mastery is demonstrated by restraint — the ability to remove everything that is not load-bearing.

Three principles, set in order.
-
01
Form follows function. The page must do its work before it asks to be admired.
-
02
Three primaries are enough. Discipline is not a limitation; it is the medium.
-
03
The grid is a moral position. Everything in its place — or remove it.
