Every sheet sits a hair off the last — that's the point. Each pass re-randomizes the misregistration.

Who's Pulling

INK & PAPER is two people, one Risograph FR3950, and a shelf of ink drums in a back room off Stark Street. We print a quarterly zine and run small editions for illustrators, comic makers, and small-press publishers who'd rather hold a sheet than scroll a feed.

Our ink philosophy is simple: two colors forced to do the work of four. We overprint by hand, we let the registration drift a few pixels, and we never print on white. Every imperfection is a signature, not a mistake.

"If it lines up perfectly, we printed it wrong."

— Studio motto, taped to the press
